Participating businesses are expected to offer promotions such as discounts or free items, to scavenger hunt participants. The association will provide Halloween "treasures" for businesses to hide, along with stickers, posters, and social media support.
The scavenger hunt rules limit groups to four people, with children under 11 requiring adult accompaniment. Participants can earn extra raffle entries by engaging with businesses on social media using the hashtag #keepitonthehill.
Event organizers are seeking volunteers to host booklet pickup and drop-off locations at both ends of Chestnut Hill to ensure participants explore the entire area. For information, visit chestnuthillpa.com.
