Announcing a new Conservancy board member

Posted

The Chestnut Hill Conservancy is delighted to announce the election of Kevin Chung to its board of directors. Kevin, who moved to Chestnut Hill with his partner, Catie Schwartz, in spring 2024, brings a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to preserving our community's unique character and green spaces.

Kevin holds a risk management and insurance degree from Temple University's Fox School of Business and currently serves as the agency relationship manager at Chubb, overseeing production results and external communications for more than 40 agencies across the tri-state area.

Kevin has quickly integrated into the community, participating in volunteer work and engagement efforts that align with the Conservancy's mission. His dedication to preserving the neighborhood's charm, history and natural beauty is evident, whether volunteering or walking his dog, Junior, through town and in Pastorius Park.

You can meet Kevin at the Conservancy's free hybrid Ask the Experts session on Tuesday, Oct. 29. The session, titled "Case Studies in Restoration and Loss Prevention," will provide an overview of typical renovation and maintenance projects, potential losses historic homeowners may face, and best practices for loss prevention and insurance coverage during and after construction. Registration is coming soon — stay informed by signing up for the Conservancy's newsletters or contact Programs and Communications Manager Chrissy Clawson for more information.

Ask the Experts is a free program made possible by event sponsor Harth Builders, supporting sponsor Wallace Landscape Associates, and the Conservancy's lead and general sponsors. It is done in collaboration with the Chestnut Hill Community Association. For advance question submissions or registration inquiries, please contact Chrissy Clawson at chrissy@chconservancy.org.

The Chestnut Hill Conservancy eagerly anticipates Kevin's contributions as a director, particularly his expertise in risk management and community engagement.
